We're sad to say Deputy Chief/Training Officer Brady Walters will be leaving us this later this month. Brady has been with our organization on and off since 2018 and has worked hard to improve training and operations at HKVRFPD. Brady was given an amazing opportunity to be Fire Chief for another district in Eastern Oregon; we wish him the best of luck! Rebekah Kermoyan is slated to take over many of Brady's duties for HKVFD.

HKVRFPD is excited to announce an automatic mutual aid agreement with Polk County Fire Dist. #1 on the north and  east sides of our fire district. This will cut out critical time delays when responding to major incidents such as a cardiac emergency, car crash, or fire in either district. Working together is key in rural areas where resources are thin!
